About ME
I’m Dr. T.M. Mohamed Usman, an academic and researcher in Civil and Environmental Engineering, with over a decade of experience in higher education. I currently serve as the Assistant Professor and Head of the Department of Civil Engineering at PET Engineering College, Tamil Nadu.
My academic journey blends teaching, research, and administrative leadership. As a key contributor to institutional quality assurance, I serve as the Coordinator for NAAC Criterion 4 (Infrastructure & Learning Resources) and NBA Criterion 10 (Governance & Institutional Support). In these roles, I manage critical data validation, resource optimization, and compliance documentation to align with Outcome-Based Education (OBE) standards.
I hold a PhD in Civil Engineering (Anna University) with research centred on biohydrogen production from biosolids using advanced pretreatment strategies. My contributions include over 13 peer-reviewed publications, international conference presentations, and several book chapters.
